In this workshop in Monica Bryant’s studio we will paint the paper maché hearts we made the week before. We will learn techniques in painting such as underpainting and layering paint, collaging painted papers, acrylic skins, and some waterbased spray painting. Paints and materials will be provided.
A day 10AM to 2PM in Monica Bryant’s studio making paper maché hearts learning multiple techniques with paper sculptures. We will cover objects with strips of paper. We will fold wet glued paper to mold into ribbon s or flowers. We will glue lace and string and other objects onto our hearts. In the end we will create two to three 3D hearts of different sizes. After the hearts have dried, the next Saturday we will paint them learning many techniques in part two of Heartfelt Workshop—Heartfelt Painting of Hearts. To sign up go to store
